Spindogs Marketing

Umbraco Awards and Code Garden – Owain Williams, one of Umbraco Developers went to Codegarden in Denmark, and the Umbraco Awards took place. We were a finalist for one of the awards, but sadly didn’t win on this occasion! However, it was an amazing achievement to be a finalist as we were competing with top design agencies across the globe.

BARK 11 – the magazine is underway and looking great! It is almost finished which is super exciting!

Asset review – Incremental improvements to our online and offline assets continue – this is a continuous process

Recruitment and onboarding continue to be a priority

  • In the past 3 months, we have had 726 applications for 4 roles.
  • We have been helping with the onboarding of 2 new PHP Developers and 1 new Support Rep
  • We will be trialling a new recruitment platform from July

Working hard on getting projects out the door – there have been 17 projects gone live or deployed throughout June!

Reviewing Zoho and their projects to ensure tracking is correct – we’ve managed to smash our utilisation target >100%

Inviting BD into our stand-ups to better learn how we can support the business pipeline and lean on other teams to drive the best solution for our clients and Spindogs.

 

Digital Marketing

Some great new Digital Marketing retainer wins this month including Traveline, TFW, Natuzzi, Radnor Preservs and RAMRE and a couple more in the pipeline too, that’s what we’re itching to get our hands on.

  • Ryan’s been working on some additional GA4 pricing to help support and guide the final clients who need help with their GA4 set-up. There are 2 documents which we want to share – an internal and an external version so everyone has context around the language we use.

We’ve started working on Automotive Dashboards for the BPs to showcase support metrics and give better insight into the accounts.

Over the next couple of months, we’re working on getting more of our WordPress Clients onto the subscriptions Plan before the mandatory rollout in 2024.
